This course is for students who have completed the Beginner I & II classes or more experienced players who would like to learn basic strategies of Defense. Those taking the course will:

• Learn to formulate and execute a "Defensive Plan".
• Continue to expand Bridge vocablulary.
• Assess a variety of card-holding scenarios for efficient Defense including leads, signaling and card counting techniques.
• Analyze specific holding to demonstrate a theme, skill or competence.
